The 6 most Romantic Places in India

Hey lovelies,

I love travelling but never thought of writing something on it but then I was like lets do this! So I thought to start a column here about travelling, places I visited or want to visit and everything related!

I know we Indians always think to travel abroad and I agree I wish that too! But why not lets talk about India today!  I’ll speak you through the top 6 Romantic places to travel in India.

1. Kashmir, India

Talking about beauty and romance without Kashmir, is not fair! The heaven on the earth falls here in Kashmir and I love it. I agree there are times things are not well there but the beauty of it never fails to astonish us. The beautiful gardens there, the magestic Shikara ride in the Dal lake is just perfect.

2. Udaipur, Rajasthan

Rajasthan has undoubtedly topped my list on this… Udaipur is the most beautiful city I visited in Rajasthan. The palaces there are magnificent and the feel is so good and romantic and I rank it at the top. I’ve even spotted the most number of foreigners there. So yes apart from the history Rajasthan is a place a eternal beauty and romance.

3. Manali, Himachal Pradesh

The one thing that will always come to mind when you speak romance and beauty is Hills and Mountains and what can be more beautiful than Manali. A resort town covered with mountains in the state of Himachal Pradesh, and it is known as the backpacking-center and honeymoon destination, and says it all and needs no more definition!

4. Agra

Agra, is a city in the state of Uttar pradesh, and the iconic Taj Mahal is situated there. Taj Mahal is an epitome of romance created by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz and that itself is sooo romantic! So yes Taj Mahal has to be on the list. And I wil also say you guys a small fact:

The Taj Mahal attracts 7–8 million visitors a year. In 2007, it was declared a winner of the New7Wonders of the World (2000–2007) initiative

6.  Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

Yes, I am back to Rajasthan again. I kept the most beautiful place for the last, so it may the last one on the least but definitely not the least. Jaisalmer is called the Golden City, it has few beautiful and attractive places, among which boating in the Gadisar lake is one of my favorites. Then comes the desert, the great Indian Thar desert, who does not want to stay at a beautiful camp in the Thar desert and have the most beautiful evening experience. So yes when you are at Rajasthan do go visit the Oasis camps at Jaisalmer, you will love it as they will make sure you have a great evening, trust me!
